Frequently asked questions

For student visas, you can enter your tuition fees directly in the calculator — just fill in the tuition field after selecting your visa type. The calculator pre-loads the official living cost figures (e.g. AUD 29,710 for Australia, £13,761 for UK London), and your tuition is added on top to give you the complete show money amount. Tuition varies by university, so we can't pre-fill it — enter the figure from your CoE, CAS, or acceptance letter.

Yes — all living cost figures are taken from official immigration authority sources and updated regularly. For example: Australia's AUD 29,710 is the current DIBP-published living cost (updated 2024); the UK's £1,529/month (London) and £1,171/month (outside London) are UKVI's official rates effective 31 Dec 2025; Canada's CAD 22,895 is the IRCC threshold updated Sept 1, 2025; Ireland's €10,000 is the current Irish Immigration figure updated June 30, 2025. Always confirm with the relevant embassy before applying as figures can change.

Foreign exchange rates fluctuate daily. The LKR equivalents shown use a reference rate and are meant to give you a rough idea of what to budget. The actual amount will depend on the live rate on the day we arrange your show money. We'll confirm the exact LKR figure when you contact us.

It depends on the country. For UK visas, funds must be held for 28 consecutive days before submitting your application. For Australia and Canada there's no fixed holding rule, but consistent recent history is important. We advise on the exact holding requirements for your specific application.

Yes, for most visas. You'll need a financial sponsorship letter alongside the bank statements. We handle this — we can arrange show money in a sponsor's name with the correct documentation package so the embassy understands the source of funds clearly.
